Decorative Punch Needle Dish Towel
A couple of weeks ago I took a punch needle class. Punch needle is a very easy craft to pick up and it takes much less time than cross stitch. I think it is fun. My only beef with it is that it is pretty fragile. There aren't any knots holding it all together and it can easily be pulled out. So, what do I decide to make using punch needle? A dishcloth. What? I know. Why use punch needle, a very delicate craft, on a very used item such as a dishtowel? I don't know, because it is cute and it's a good way to display something decoratively. Therefore, here is my DECORATIVE dishtowel:

I love Russian Punch Embroidery! It's my favorite! I've been doing it for years and I've found it actually doesnt come out that easily if you knot it correctly when you're done. I love love love it! :)
I love your crafts!
I have tried this and could never get it to look good. I guess you just need talent! Very cute!
Oh my goodness! Your crafts are so cute. Do you remember me?? I am Laura Morrison's sister in law. I found your blog through Sister Stuff. I have wanted to learn punch needle for a long time. Where would I go to get cute patterns and to learn?
Of course I remember you! Look at you and your cute family! It's good to hear from you.
I like to shop at The Quilt Shop on State Street and 8200 South in Sandy. They have a ton of cute patterns and they have classes.
Good luck, and if you need any help, let me know. :)
