Blessing Day for Brielle

This day went perfectly. Getting ready and out the door for 9 a.m. church is quite a trick on any normal Sunday, but then throw in a big family event and it becomes a great challenge! But, even so, the day couldn't have gone more smoothly. Brielle woke up around 6:30 a.m. to eat, so I got up and got ready. I was able to make all the beds, get baby ready and dress the boys (with Cam's help of course!) by 8:30 a.m.! We even had time for a quick family picture. Brielle was such a good baby today. Cam gave Brielle a beautiful blessing that will help her throughout her life. He blessed her with virtue and strength to stay close to our Heavenly Father. He blessed her to be a beacon of light for her friends, to be a leader. Cameron did such a marvelous job. Thank you sweetheart! After the meeting we came back home and visited with friends and family. Dru and Sherri provided all the food and drinks. What a great relief that was for me. They do such a great job. They were so generous to help us with that! Mom and dad helped us with the dress. Mom paid for most of it and I can't tell you how much I LOVE this dress. I want to shadow box it, but the dress is so long I am not sure I can. This past week I have been working non-stop on her white afghan. I finished it just in time and I think it turned out pretty cute. This day was so much fun. I love my little family. I am so grateful for them. We are so blessed!

Here are some of my most favorite pictures of this special day.
